玄学教授刘文元
男,出身于中医世家.从小受祖父的影响,对中医学非常喜爱.自1984年开始拜师习练道家龙门派内丹功法.从1985年开始研读道家内丹修炼方面的一些著作.对《周易参同契》、《性命圭旨》、《大成捷要》、《悟真篇》、《道德经》等都下了大量的功夫学习、研究。自1988年开始学习易经，最初从四柱、六爻、梅花易数入手，实践了几年后，于1994年8月亲往西安拜奇门大师张光先生为师学习正统飞盘奇门遁甲，同年冬季又亲往武汉，受到六壬名家陈维辉先生的亲自指点。
从1997年至2000年期间，刘文元曾多次前往河北省周易研究会，跟随张志春老师学习转盘奇门遁甲。
2001年至2004年期间，曾多次前往北京参加数次全国性的风水学习班，对各流派风水多有涉猎，尤其在玄空风水研究上，有独到的心得和见解。
2002年，应邀参加了“首届世界华人UFO科学研究会”，并被吸收为会员。
2003年，刘文元组织、创办了瓦房店市周易文化研究会，并被聘为首任会长。
2004年，应邀参加了第一届易学与当代经济建设国际研讨会，论文《奇门遁甲预测术的优势》荣获大会最佳论文奖项。
2005年开始，瓦房店市周易文化研究会首次面向全国招生，全年十分成功地举办了十一期各种类别的易经学习班，有奇门遁甲、大六壬、外应预测学、四柱学等班次，全由刘文元亲自讲课，来自全国各地的易经学员反响非常好。
刘文元现在为世界华人UFO联合会会员、中国辽宁省周易研究会常务理事、中国瓦房店市周易文化研究会会长。刘文元对奇门遁甲、大六壬、玄空风水、六爻纳甲、梅花易数、拆字测字、外应预测、道家符咒、道家内丹学说、佛学等都有着深入而独到的研究。刘文元老师尤其注重实占的准确性，常年为各种类型的求测者排忧解难，其预测准确率已受到各界人士的高度认可，很多易界同道称刘文元为“小张延生”。
刘文元是现今易学界集奇门、六壬、太乙、玄空风水、四柱学、六爻纳甲、梅花易数、拆字测字、外应预测、道家符咒、道家内丹、中医知识于一身的为数极少的易界精英人物。其多篇易经学术论文被中国《当代》杂志收录其中。
